Many people think the idea of looking up government background records is sleazy and no good but it is actually legal. These records are believed to be available to the public and there are some reasons why someone would wish to check government background records. Or maybe you are simply not certain of somebody you have started dating and wish to perform a background check to discover additional information. Whatever the situation might be, it is easy enough to acquire government background records.

As long as you have an Internet connection you should be set to go. Start with a site like Gov-Resources.com which is a huge database offering public information and state records. You can find anyone’s background record and see whether they were ever arrested, in trouble with the courts, or otherwise have a criminal history. You can do a background check on any person as long as you have a bit of important information including their name and where they live.

Using their full name and the state they live in, within just a matter of minutes you can find out everything indexed in the government records on that individual. Another site worth checking out for this is the Info Registry site. They provide instant complete background searches with their nationwide search system. To do a search you simply need to type in as much details as you know on the person.

Of course you have to figure that the more information you can offer, the more accurate search you will get. A benefit of this company is that you are able to come back and enjoy instant data lookups to keep on top of changes in reports. They are known as being one of the leading sites for obtaining government background records and one that you will definitely want to check out. The Background Records Registry site is another that is quite popular for this purpose.

Companies will frequently turn here to look for potential employees and use the information they discover to help them make the best decision. Many employers will probably be okay if you’ve been in trouble in the past but if you lied on your application and they find out, that’s a complete different story. You can discover as much government background records as you like with just that one-time fee. Regardless of what reason you are trying to perform a background check on someone, it is never been easier using the advancements of the Internet and all the user friendly search systems and databases.

You may be in the Pinellas County public records and not even know it! Pinellas County is one of the most popular counties in Florida, with millions of visitors coming from around the world each year to visit its famous beaches, see world famous shows at its professionally appointed theater venues, and eat seafood at its hundreds of first class restaurants. People come in and out of Pinelllas County all the time, and any of these visits could generate a public record.

Pinellas County public records are generated for a variety of reasons. Anyone who has ever gotten a ticket in the county, bought or sold property (even timeshares), gotten married there, or been involved in a civil suit with someone from there will most likely have a public record in their name at the county court house. The Pinellas County court house is in Clearwater, home of one of the world’s most famous beaches. If you’re interested in finding out what information Pinellas County has on you, this is where you want to start.

You can go to the Pinellas County clerk of the court website and do on online search to look up your name. If you find a mention of yourself there, you can click further into the site to see the index of whatever event generated the record. To get a copy of the full record, so you can see the exact details of the information about you that’s being held by the county, you will need to go to the county court house in person and request it.

However, getting Pinellas County public records may be a challenge for anyone who only comes there to visit and lives out of state (or on the other side of Florida!). If this is you, and you still want to see the full copy of your record, you’ll need to sign up for a month at www.inforegistry.com. The service will find your record for you, and show it to you on your computer. Since you get unlimited searches for a month, it’s also a good opportunity for you to look anywhere else you’ve ever been in the United States, and see if there are any more public records about you out there!

Polk County, Florida public records are highly searched for in the central part of the state. With over 500,000 people living there, there’s ample opportunity for public records to be generated. Lakeland, the largest city in the county, is home to the area’s largest shopping mall, as well as a thriving retail district that runs the gamut from popular chain stores to small, locally owned specialty shops. People come from all over the county to visit Lakeland, and it’s a popular hub for people all over the central Florida area who are looking for a quieter place to shop and eat than the bustling nearby Orlando.

The types of documents you’ll find among the Polk County, Florida public records are the same as you’d find anywhere else in the state. Vital records, wills, land transactions, probate, civil and criminal dockets and more all abound within the walls of the county court house in Bartow. Like anywhere else in Florida, these records are all open to just about anyone who requests them, due to the state’s Government in the Sunshine law. All you have to do to get any record (with the exception of birth and juvenile records) is to go to the court house and ask.

Polk County, Florida public records are also available online at the clerk of the court’s website. In many cases, you’ll find the entire document available for you to view. Other instances, such as criminal cases and divorce records, will only show an index, and you’ll have to go into the court in person to see the whole document. Just knowing it’s there, though, by seeing its index, is enough to save you an trip to Bartow, so be sure to check online before making a long drive, just in case the record in question isn’t there. You can also subscribe to www.inforegistry.com to have public records from Polk County and all over the state located for you and delivered to your computer, without you having to talk to anyone or make a trip away from home.

Florida DMV records can be a very rich source of public records for you. However, you won’t be able to access everything that’s in them. This is because of the “Driver’s Privacy Protection Act,” which is in effect in every state.

The Driver’s Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) is a federal law that regulates what information the DMV can share with the public. It also regulates how a recipient of DMV records can share information with another person. Basically, it restricts your access to the Florida DMV records, as well as DMV records in every other state.

What information will be kept from you if you request these records?

In a nutshell–Photographs, Social Security Number, driver’s license number, name, address, telephone number, medical information, and disability information.

What types of information will you receive when you request DMV records? The information you’ll get varies from state to state, but you can usually expect:

· the name, the date of birth, and the mailing address of the driver

· the driver license class, endorsements, and restrictions

· the current status and the expiration date of the driver license

· any suspensions or revocations of the driver license; accidents, and

moving violation convictions

. The 5-digit zip code for the driver’s address, criminal convictions,

traffic accidents, traffic violations, and any driving restrictions.

Further, the DMV will only release the above information to people who have a “permissible use.” What is defined as “permissible use”?

1. Government/Law enforcement work.

2. In cases of motor vehicle safety, accidents, and theft.

3. By a legitimate business or its agent to prevent fraud.

4. For use by the courts system for civil, criminal, and other processes.

5. For use in research where identities are not revealed.

6. Insurance purposes (by insurers).

7. For impounded vehicles.

8. By licensed private investigative agency or licensed security service.

9. And other state governmental matters.

10. Use by any requester who has obtained the

written consent of the motorist.

If you request Florida DMV records, you’ll need to provide a reason, as well as proof that you have permissible use of the record in question. It’s not impossible to obtain DMV records, by any means. However, in the interest of privacy and the protection of identities in an age of rampant identity theft, these records are more restricted than other types of public records, so be aware of that before making a request.

You don’t have to be mentioned in any of the state of Florida public records in order to gain access to them. The “Sunshine State” has one of the most open policies when it comes to accessing any sort of official record generated there. This makes Florida a dream for private investigators, amateur investigators, genealogists, law enforcement personnel, and anyone else who needs access to the records others have generated.

In the state of Florida, public records are generally held by one of three agencies:

1. The county courts–County courts house vital records (birth, death, marriage, and divorce), wills, land transactions, civil and criminal case dockets, probate records, tax lien records, and similar documents.

2. The sheriff’s departments in each county–The sheriff’s departments keep arrest records in each county, along with mug shots.

3. The property appraisers in each county–The property appraisers keep records of who owns property, as well as when a property sells, and for how much. You’ll also find the taxable value of each property at these agencies.

The Florida Department of Vital Statistics in Jacksonville also houses some records. You’ll find state-wide birth, death, marriage, and divorce records there going back to about the 1920’s, depending on the record. For vital records earlier than that, you’ll need to go to the county court house in which the event occurred.

The only records that are sealed are birth records and juvenile records (both civil and criminal, including guardianship papers). To get either, you have to be either the person named in the record, or the parent of that person. Birth records are unsealed after 100 years, at which point anyone can request them.

The Government in the Sunshine law is responsible for the openness of Florida’s records. This law was put into practice under the presumption that official government records are part of the process of governing, and that in a democratically elected government system, the records of the government ought to be available to the public that elected it.

Many counties in Florida are now putting their public records online for anyone to access. Some of the larger counties in the state, such as Hillsborough, Polk, Orange, and Dade, have scanned images of documents on their websites, so you can view the entire record without leaving home (for privacy reasons, documents pertaining to family law cases are only viewable at the court house in these counties). Other counties only have the indexes to records available online, so you have to go to the court house in person to see the entire record, or use a records retrieval service like www.inforegistry.com to pull up the records on your computer for you. Still other counties have no records available online yet, which makes Public Records Pro even more of a necessity for you if you live too far away from the county you’re researching in to drive there.

The state of Florida public records are among the most accessible in the nation. Whether you’re looking for just one or many, www.inforegistry.com can help you find and view them without ever leaving your house. That’s convenience you can count on!

Did you know Escambia County public records can help you with your genealogy research in Florida? For example, you know where you were born, and you know where your children were born. However, you may not know where your parents, grandparents, and other members of your family were born. This may not be important to you in everyday life, but might become something that you have to know if you are going to trace your family tree back through time. You have to know where to get this information, and how to verify that you do have the right places and dates. If your relatives lived in Escambia County, the records there can help you answer a lot of questions about your ancestors that you never knew.

You may assume that the Escambia County public records will tell you that your ancestor was born in Escambia County. However, you can never know that for sure until you check it out. What you have to do is to find out where you can locate birth records that confirm that you suspect to be true. Not only do those birth certificates and records confirm what you know, they can give you more information that further expands your searching in new directions.

The information you find through birth records will give date of birth as well as location. That you probably already know. However, what is very helpful, besides the obvious, is that parents are also listed on these records. That means that you have the correct name of the father and even the maiden name of the mother in most cases. That is information on which you can count, and that is invaluable in researching a family tree.

You can find birth records by sending out for them, but that can be very time consuming. Instead, see what you can find online. More and more people are having good luck with this today, as new information is added to various genealogy sites each and every day. That means a search of these with your loved one’s name can give you the place of birth and possibly show you the actual record so you can use all of the information.

Searches do not always work well, and that greatly depends on how you go about it. If you simply cannot find the records you seek, don’t give up until you try another source. There are some sites that specialize in being able to find where your loved ones were born along with other helpful vital records for your family tree endeavor. If you can’t visit the Escambia County public records in person to look for the information you need, some of these specialty sites, like www.inforegistry.com, can help you find the records you seek right from the comfort of your own home, so you never need to go to the court house!

A good public records database can help you find lost family heirlooms. There are many reasons why you want to find such heirlooms. Genealogy is one of the biggest, but nostalgia, family pride, and fond remembrances of our relatives who have gone are other reasons you may want to locate lost heirlooms.

Many objects in a family can be intended to be passed down through the generations, but because of life circumstances, these things can end up in the wrong hands. Wedding rings, for example, are often handed down as family treasures, but they can easily get lost along the way, since they’re small. If you think that you have a set of old wedding rings coming your way, find out where to look.

Mistakes and grudges can also keep heirloom rings out of their rightful hands, but a public records database will help you track them down and reclaim them! If you are pretty sure that you were supposed to be next in line for a ring, but it’s gone another way, you may want to find out why. There could have been problems within the family, or there could have been huge mis-communications. This is something you can only find out with a little research.

If a couple has been married, but were married before they met each other, there could be children from both marriages. That could easily mean that the rings from each marriage will be passed on to the right children. However, that does not always happen. Sometimes, the rings from the first marriage are given to the wrong person, or even worse, are left somewhere. When that person dies, relatives can do something with them, not realizing they were meant for one of the children.

Marriage records can help you trace members of a first wife or husband’s family. These records are always going to have maiden names on them, which helps immensely when it comes to finding a connection through the wife’s side of the family. These can also be used to prove that you are who you say you are, and that the rings in question really do belong to you.

You can try searching for the records that you seek through search engines and the various genealogy sites that you can find online. This can take some time, and may turn up blank. If that happens, or you want to save time, find a public records database like www.inforegistry.com that can dig up and give you the marriage records that you need to do what has to be done.

As a genealogist, you never know what you may find in the public records of Florida. The records of this particular state are very open and accessible to everyone, thanks to the state’s Government in the Sunshine law that mandates official government activities be open to the public. Nearly anyone can request to see any record on any person and be granted access (birth records being a rare exception–those are sealed for 100 years, and until then, only you or your parents can see yours).

In the public records of Florida, you might find evidence of births, deaths, and marriages in your family that were previously unknown. I personally discovered (quite unexpectedly!) that my grandfather had a secret wife that no one knew about! He’s gone now, but the marriage record is right there, in the public records, for anyone to see! It was news to my mother, and news to my grandmother, as well! It seems that after he and my grandmother divorced, he had a brief, secret marriage that lasted only a year before he married my step-grandmother. Without the Florida public records, we never would have known about this, but now we have a new name to add to our family tree!

You might also find evidence of illegitmate births for children that were later given up for adoption, as well as criminal records for relatives who always seemed to lead clean, law-abiding lives. If you’re searching probate records and wills, you could discover you’re heir to an estate you never knew about before! If you’re a genealogist or simply interested in uncovering family secrets, the public records of Florida are where you want to look! If you don’t live in Florida and can’t visit the court houses there in person to find the records you want, a subscription to www.inforegistry.com is only $2.95 a month, and will deliver these records right to your computer. It’s a great service from a trusted company, and is gaining a lot of popularity among genealogists for its millions of records from all over the United States.

Orange County, Florida public records are among the most requested in the state. This is because Orange County is one of the most populous counties in Florida. With nearly 2 million people, this central Florida county is the home of Orlando, the vacation capital of the world. While Walt Disney World–the main attraction of central Florida–is technically just over the border in neighboring Osceola County, it’s Orange County that attracts millions of visitors each year, from all over the world. There’s an ample opportunity for a LOT of public records to be generated here!

The indexes to most Orange County, Florida public records are available online at the clerk of the court website. At this website, you’ll be able to conduct a name search that will show you any record anyone by that name has generated in the county. Click on the button labeled “Details” next to any case, and you’ll see an outline of the case in question. The outline will include the person’s name, possibly the date of birth, a calendar for upcoming events in the case, as well as a listing of pertinent events in the case from its beginning to the present.

You can find out a lot from the case outlines available online. The only drawback is that you can’t see the finer details of the case, like police reports, divorce settlements, and the like. To see these, you must go in person to the Orange County court house and either have a clerk pull the case file for you or view it on a dedicated in-house computer at the court.

Fortunately, anyone can request to see any public record in Orange County, so you don’t have to be the person named in the case or a relative to look at it. This is good news for genealogists, detectives, private investigators, insurance investigators, and law enforcement personnel who need access to this information.

Among the Orange County, Florida public records, you’ll find such things as:
Wills

Divorce records

Marriage licenses

Birth and death records

Land transactions

Criminal records

Arrest records

Civil suits

and more!

If you don’t live in proximity to Orange County, Florida, public records from there are still available to you through www.inforegistry.com. You can use this service to access an unlimited number of public records in Orange County for one flat monthly fee. It’s a great time-saver, and it has millions of records at its disposal, so you can find what you want fast and have it delivered right to your computer! Click HERE to subscribe to www.inforegistry.com.

If you want to know what someone has REALLY been up to, just check the Florida public criminal records. In the state of Florida, all records regarding arrests and criminal court cases are part of the public record, and available for anyone to view upon request. If you suspect your significant other has a secret past or that your new employee may be hiding an unsavory background, you can find out at your local county court house or by checking to see if the county in question has any records available online. Many family historians and genealogists also look for criminal records, since these records add another layer to the story of the lives of ancestors that you probably won’t find in any history books!

Not every Florida county has online public records yet, but quite a few do. The amount of information you’ll find on the county clerk of the court websites varies from full case listings to merely indexes that leave you tantalized and wanting more. To get more, of course, you have to make the trip to the court house in person.

Alternately, you can choose to use a reputable public records search service like www.inforegistry.com and Gov-Resources to find your records for you and deliver them to you on your computer. These kinds of services are a more cost-effective and time-saving approach for people who either need a lot of records (and don’t want to pay outrageous copy fees to the court for them) or live too far away from the county where the record they want is located (and don’t want to take the time to drive there).

Both www.inforegistry.com and Gov-Resources have millions of Florida public criminal records available in their databases, as well as a comparable number of birth, death, marriage, divorce, and other types of public records. Therefore, the chances of these services having exactly what you’re looking for is extremely high.

Make sure you know all about the past of anyone you’re involved with, either on a personal or professional basis. Look them up in the Florida public criminal records. You may find nothing at all, and if so, great! That means there’s nothing to worry about with that person, at least as far as a criminal history goes. However, if you find a record of something that person never told you about, then you have the information you need to decide how you’ll proceed with your relationship with him or her. Be informed and protect yourself with knowledge.
